David and Colin Tied at Top of Broom

 Game two of this season's Torphichen Broom started with a classic, six blanked ends, and a game-winning ninth end. Colin Howden's team held the early advantage when they scored a three in the second end. The next three ends were blanked before Basil Baird's team leveled the game after scoring three in the sixth end. The match would be won on the ninth end when Colin's team scored a four to win the game 7-3.

The second game was more one-sided with David Baird's team having a fast start scoring four in the first end. Graham Young's team blanked the second end, then David's team won the next three ends, and the match 13-0.

In the final match, Stewart Barr's team scored a single in the first end. Ian Keron's team responded by winning the next five ends to win the game 9-1.
