Winning Start For James At Under 21 Slam

Midcalder Juniors were on fine form at the first of four Asham Under 21 slam events. James Baird was part of the winning boys team with Ross Whyte, Gavin Barr and Euan Kyle after they defeated Team Barr 9-3 in the final at Greenacres Curling Club










Sophie Sinclair was part of Team Aitken which came third overall in the Girls competition. Playing with Sophie were Karina Aitken, Rachel Halliday and Laura Barr.
David Baird playing in Team Brydone got through to the quarter finals. Rebecca Baird playing with Team Morrison and George Sinclair playing with Team McLean both played well but there teams were unable to make it out of the group stages.
