Scottish Pairs Championship
Midcalder Curling Club had three members representing Murrayfield in the Scottish Curling Pairs Championship at Stranraer Ice Rink.
In Section A David & Rebecca Baird were unable to make it out of their group with two wins and three losses.
James Baird playing with Cameron Bryce were more successful in Section D with three wins, one draw and one loss. This was good enough to qualify them for the quarter-finals where they beat Lanarkshire 5-1. The semi-final game was a very close with James & Cameron taking a single in the last end to win the match 3-2.
The final was going well with the game tied at 2-2 at the halfway point, but the last three ends didn't go their way as they lost the game 5-2.
