Midcalder AGM and Prize Giving 2015
Midcalder Curling Club held their annual AGM and Prize Giving at Craigies Farm Deli and Cafe to officially close the curling season. It was another great turnout of members and friends of the club to see Alan Russell pass on the Presidency to John Sinclair. Thank you to Alan for the last two seasons and good luck to John for the coming seasons. Alan Graham was elected to the post of Vice President of Midcalder Curling Club.
Jean Carruthers stood down as Secretary of the club after five years in the post. All at the club would like to thank Jean for all her hard work over the last five years. Andrew Brash was elected to be the new Secretary of Midcalder Curling Club.
Lynne McEwen and Graham Russell stood down from the committee after the term on the Council. Thank you, Lynne and Graham, for all your work over the last two years. Christine Hamilton was elected to the Council for the next two years.
Then it was onto the prize giving where everybody was hoping for one of Midcalder's chocolate bars. Jean Carruthers kindly presented the trophies this year.
And the prize winner's were...
