Midcalder Juniors were out in action playing in the Stevenson Trophy at the Asham Under 17 event at Lockerbie Ice rink. Team Wood of Callum Wood, Adam Keron, Ewan Barr and Dan March came second in Group F to qualify for the low road quarterfinal. In that game, they defeated Team Lockhart 4-2 to advance to the semi-finals. Team Wood got off to a great start leading 3-0 after three ends before becoming undone against Team Howat and losing the game 5-3.
