Stewart Takes Stoddart Cup, Just!
Stewart Barr went into the last game of the Stoddart Cup two points clear at the top of the league needing just a draw or a win to guarantee the title. But no one told Scott Baird who thrashed Stewart Barr 9-3.
This gave Graham Young a small chance of winning the title and although he did beat Basil Baird 7-6, that wasn't enough to win the league.
