Very Friendly, Very Close Interclub Competition
Midcalder Curling Club invited Haddington Curling Club, Inverkeithing Curling Club and 37 Club to play in the Interclub Competition. All the matches ended up being very close games and competitive games.
Haddington Curling Club got off to a great start against Midcalder One as they raced into a 7-1 lead after three ends. Midcalder One then turned the tide and won the next four ends to head into the lead and with Haddington only scoring a single in the last end Midcalder One won the game 10-8.
Midcalder Two got off to a good start against Inverkeithing Curling Club leading 5-1 after four ends. Inverkeithing turned the match around by winning three of the last four ends to peel the match 6-6.
The final match was a see-saw game as 37 Club had the early lead before Midcalder Three came back to lead during the middle of the game. 37 Club scored a single in the last end to peel the game at 6-6.
This left Midclader One of Bob Graham, Ewan Barr, Jim Wilson and Alan Crawford the winners with plus two shots.
