Ian And Alan Win Buchanan Pairs
Midcalder Curling Club held their pairs competition at Murrayfield Curling Rink with eight teams split into two groups fighting it out for the Buchanan Pairs Trophy.
Group A saw Scott Baird and Christine Smellie winning the group with Robert Smellie and Graham Wood coming last to play the Losers Final.
Group B saw Keron, Alan Graham win the Group and Alan Russell, Alan Crawford play the Losers Final.
The final was a close game with the match going down to the last shot before it was decided. After the first end being blanked, Ian Keron and Alan Graham won a two in the second end and with Scott Baird and Christine Smellie only scoring a single in the last end the title went to Ian Keron and Alan Graham.
The Losers final saw Robert Smellie and Graham Wood score three in the last end to come from behind to win the Losers game against Alan Russell and Alan Crawford.
