Four Tied Top Of Stoddart
Four teams are tied at the top of the Stoddart Cup after week 3. Stewart Barr's team still holds the upper arm despite losing to Alan Graham. Stewart's team got off to a good start, leading 4-0 after two ends. Alan's team then won the next four ends to lead by 2 only to lose a 2 at the next end for the game to be tied going into the last end. A single for Alan in the last end gave them a 7-6 win and moved them tied top of the league.
Graham Young's team remained second in the league despite also losing in week 3. Graham's team lead 4-2 at the halfway point, only for Bob Graham's team to win the next three ends with singles plus having three penalty points awarded to them to give Bob an 8-4 win and also move tied top of the league.
Scott Baird's team won the bottom of the league clash with John Sinclair's team. Both teams were without a win and it was Scott that held the early advantage leading 4-2 at the halfway point. The team won the next two ends to have an insurmountable lead, winning the match 7-6.
