Two Go Clear At Top Of Broom

Ian Keron stayed top of the Torphichen Broom by ends played after beating the bottom team, Basil Baird. Ian got off to a good start leading 4-0 after two ends, before Basil the match in the fifth end. A four in the sixth end restored his early advantage which he would hold on to win the game 8-4.
David Baird got his team on the scoreboard with a big five in the second end. Stewart Barr replied with a two at the next end, but it was Davis team that won the match by winning the last two ends giving them a 9-4 victory.
