Basil On Top Of Cousland
The top two teams were up against each other in game 2 of the Cousland Cup. A strong start by Basil Baird saw his team lead Graham Russell 7-1 at the halfway point. Graham's team did reduce the lead in the last three ends, but it wasn't enough as Bails' team ran out 9-4 winners.
Graham Wood's team moved off the bottom of the league after a hard-fought game against Alan Ogilive. Graham was leading 5-2 at the half-way point before Alan's team came back to tie the match in the sixth end. Graham then had to make a double takeout with the last shot in the last end to win the match 7-5.
