Midcalder Holds on in District Medal

 Midcalder Curling Club was taking on Forfar Curling in this season's District Medal. Two teams from both clubs combine their score to find the winner. 

Team one for Midcalder was Scott Baird, Lesley Barr, Graham Wood, and Kirsteen Sinclair and they got off to a great start leading 4-0 after two ends. Forfar came back with a bang scoring a four in the third end. Midcalder then took charge of the game by winning the last four ends to win the match 10-4.

Team Two for Midcalder was Alan Russell, Graham Russell, Abigail Rennie, and Bob Graham. Forfar got the ball rolling in this match with a two in the first end, Midcalder replayed by winning the next two ends to lead 3-2. Forfar came back this time by winning the next four ends to lead 7-3. A single in the last end for Midcalder reduced Forfar's win to 7-4. 

Overall Midcalder won 14-11 to take the Medal.
