No Points Could Separate Them

Midcalder Curling Club held their Ross Trophy Points competition with Livingston Curling Club.

It was a very hotly contested competition with nothing separating two players in the end. Graham Young held the advantage with 30 points and two disciplines to play. Colin Howden was in second place with 23 points and Scott Baird was in third with 22 points.

Graham Young set the target with 33 points after scoring three points in his last two disciplines. Scott Baird came just two points short after scoing nine points in his last two disciplines for a total of 31 points. Colin Howden then scored ten points in the last two disciplines to take his final tally to 33 points as well.

With both players tied on 33 points, it was decided that the person with the most two points would win. Graham Young had 14 two points and Colin Howden had 13 two points.

Congratulations to Graham Young on winning the Ross Points Trophy.
