The Stoddart Cup concluded with an entertaining and competitive finals night at Midcalder Curling Club, with three decisive games bringing the competition to a close and confirming the final standings after five rounds.

Game A

Laura Nisbett rink vs Basil Baird rink
The Laura Nisbett rink finished strongly with a convincing performance against Basil Baird’s team. A solid start and consistent scoring through the middle ends allowed Nisbett’s rink to build control of the game, eventually running out 10–4 winners. Accurate draw weight and effective game management proved key in securing the result.

Game B

Stewart Barr rink vs Scott Baird rink

Game B was a closely fought contest, with both rinks trading scores and keeping the game tight through the early ends. Stewart Barr’s team played some good, controlled shots and stayed in contention throughout, but Scott Baird’s rink gradually edged ahead by taking advantage of key opportunities as the game progressed.

Despite late pressure from Barr’s rink, Scott Baird’s team held their line in the closing ends to secure a 6–5 win. The narrow margin reflected a well-balanced and competitive game, with both sides contributing to an entertaining encounter on finals night.
