Friendly against Penicuik

We were invited to play a social, friendly game against Penicuik on Monday.

What a very enjoyable evening it was!

The game was played in a very friendly, social, happy way. Most enjoyable. The crack afterwards was every bit as good. The curling? - of a VERY high standard. The Penicuik team of David Valentine, Peter Eccleston, Ronnie Hope and David Anderson (skip) played exceptionally well but succumbed 8 -4 to the quality of Harry Macpherson, Graham Wood, Christine Hamilton and Basil Baird (skip). Thank you Penicuik for such an enjoyable evening.
