Wood you believe who won the Christmas Bonspiel
Midcalder curling club held there annual Christmas Fun Bonspiel, With the emphasis on Fun.
Different rules are used for this competition. Each end has different rule in the game and are as follows
End 1 - Clockwise delivery only.
End 2 - Anti-clockwise delivery only.
End 3 - No sweeping past the far hog line.
End 4 - No sweeping at all.
Stacking of brooms and 5 minute refreshment break
End 5 - In silence!!! Anyone speaking, calling out or just making a noise will forfeit a point.
End 6 - No take outs. Any stones taken out will be replaced and the offending stone removed.
End 7 - Points for all stones in the house at the end of play.
The overall Winners were - Graham Wood (Skip), John Sinclair (Third), Claire Darragh (Second) and Alan Graham (Lead)
Best hat adult curler - Claire Darragh
Best hat junior curler - Lisa Barr
