Mid Calder Juniors in Germany
Mid Calder Juniors, David Baird, James Baird and Sophie Sinclair were part of the two teams who travelled to Geising, Germany last weekend. They arrived back on Monday night, after having a great weekend both on and off the ice. The opening ceremony got under way at 9pm. Each team played four games over the Saturday and Sunday. A disco was held on the Saturday night, which eventually saw almost all of the 16 teams on the dance floor, meeting new friends. Unfortunately, neither team managed through to the knockout stages. Geising is a lovely Bavarian type village, worth visiting if you get the chance. Results can be found on the IJCCB website - www.ijccb.ch
