Team Young In Full Christmas Cheer

Six teams were trying to get a Christmas bonus by winning the Midcalder Curling Clubs Christmas Bonspiel and if that didn't work, try and win the best fancy dressed. 

All three games were close after the first four ends of the competition and with the losers now moving on to play the sheet beside them they became one dominant team. This was Graham Young and his team of Alan Graham and Abigail Rennie. They were unstoppable in the last three ends as they racked up a total of plus twelve shots to win the Christmas Bonspiel. 

Alan Russell, Andrew Graham, and Christine Smellie were best of the rest as they finished runners-up. 

The Judges couldn't separate Andrew Brash and Harry Macpherson for the fancy dress contest so they gave it to the both of them.
