Stoddart Underway With Young Taking Early Advantage

 Midcalder Curling Club Stoddart Cup got underway for the 2020 season with two close games. 

In the first game, Stewart Barr held a 5-3 lead over Scott Baird at the halfway point. A strong finish from Scott's team saw them win the last four ends to win the match 7-5.

The second match was close at the halfway point with Graham Young leading 3-2 over Alan Russell. Alan's team briefly went back into the lead before Graham's team won the last two ends and with penalty points for Alan's team having three players gave Graham a 9-5.
