Broom Underway Again

 Midcalder's Torphichen Broom got underway after the absence of the competition last year. 

The first game saw Graham Young take the early advantage after scoring a two in the second end. Alan Russell's team leveled the game in the third end before Graham's team scored another two in the fourth end to take back their advantage. Graham's team then finished the game off by winning the last two ends and win the game 7-2.

Basil Baird got off to a flying start in the week's second game when they lead 7-0 after three ends. Stewarts team then blanked the next three ends before scoring their first point on the last end giving Basil Baird a 7-1 win.
