Second Attempt Stoddart Cup

 The Stoddart Cup got back underway again after having to be scrapped last season. Graham Young's  got things going again with a bang after storming into 8-0 lead after three ends. Stewart Barr's team then fought back by winning the next three ends, before Graham's team clinched the game by winning the last end and the game 10-5.

Scott Baird held a slim 4-3 lead at the halfway point in the second game. Alan Russell's team then took the lead in the fifth end, but Scott leapfrogged back into the lead by winning the sixth. A single wasn't enough for Alan's team in the last end as Scott's team held on to win 7-6.
