Stewart's Sorrow Is Graham's Joy

 The final game of this season's Stoddart Cup came to a conclusion with Stewart Barr knowing his team would win the league if they won or drew their last game. Unforchatlay for Stewart the game didn't go his way. Scott Baird's team lead 4-2 at the halfway point and they confounded Stewart's misery by winning the last four ends and the match 8-2.

Kirsty Barr's team finished the season on a high after defeating Alan Russell in the week's other game. Kirsty's team lead 6-1 at the halfway point and when they won the next two ends with singles the game was conceded with the final score of 8-1. 

Congratulations to Graham Young, Basil Baird, Abigail Rennie, and Alan Ogilvie for winning the Stoddart Cup. 

Congratulations also to Scott Barid, John Sinclair, Alan Graham, and Graham Young Snr for winning Stoddart Shield.
