The Best Team Barr None

 Midcalder Curling Club got their season underway with the Brydie Bonspiel. Four teams played each other to find the winner. A strong start from Jennifer Russell's team saw them hold an early lead and they remained unbeaten in the competition with plus six shots. Stewart Barr's team was minus three points after four ends. They then put their foot down by scoring twelve points in the last five ends to finish on plus nine shots and win. Congratulations to Stewart Barr, Ewan Barr, and Alan Graham on winning the Brydie Bonspiel. Congratulations also to Jennifer Russell, Andrew Brash, and Graham Wood on winning the R.O. Howden Shield for being runners-up.
