Glenfarclas Mid Lothian Provence League

Midcalder came from behind to beat Merchiston Curling Club in the Glenfarclas Mid Lothian Provence League. A win didn't look possible after a pick up with Midcalder's last stone in the 6th end left Merchiston a draw for a two and a 7-4 lead. With time running out in the 7th end Midcalder chipped out the Merchiston stone to lie three and tie the game at seven all. In the 8th end Midcalder work hard to lie three shots leaving Merchiston a draw for the win. Unfortunately they played it to heavy and the stone slipped pass the Midcalder stones leaving Midcalder 10-7 winners.
Midcalder now play Oxenfoord in the last game of the league, with the winners qualifying for Division 1 next season.
