Alan, your face was a picture after we'd swept that last stone and you realised they were shaking hands!! Like a kid in a sweet shop!!!
The last end was an absolute peach! The hit and roll to the 4ft to lie four, was well held by the sweepers and forced the opposition to try to draw to the edge of the 4ft to cut numbers, when it came up short of the rings Team Ferguson had a free draw to the rings for a 5. As the stone crossed the hog line, it looked as if it was going to be short but with all four of the team laying into the sweeping they managed to get it counting!
And Alan fell to his knees, spent, and only when he looked up did he realise the opposition had conceded the game.
