Christmas Only Comes Once a Year For Midcalder Juniors

In the first round of this years Champions of Champions (Jackson Trophy), Midcalder winners of last seasons Swan Trophy were up against a young Midcalder Team, winners of last seasons Christmas Bonspiel. Things didn't get of to a good start for the young Midcalder team, who with two players away in under 21 duty and Rebecca Baird having to come of the ice injured, they lost a five in the first end and never managed to get back into the game.
The older Midcalder team will now play in the semi final of the Jackson Trophy tomorrow morning and hopefully the final straight afterwords.
