Ian Tallys Up The Correct Score To Win Bridie
Ian Keron won his first Midcalder bonspiel today and the soon to be full
time member of the club put on a dazzling display to win. The Bridie bonspiel
see's winning teams change sheet after every two ends and Ian and his team of John Sinclair (third), Rebecca Baird (second) and Callum Wood (lead) found themselves eight shots up after their first two matches. They only came
undone slightly in there last match losing that 4-1, but still managed to win
overall with a plus five total.
Second place was a much closer contest with two teams finishing on plus
one shot. Alan Russell and his team of Graham Wood (third) and Jean Carruthers (second) prevailed over Graham Young and his team
with four ends won to Graham’s three.  |
