Cousland Cup Week 8 And Final Standings

Top two and bottom two teams were in action in the last week of the Cousland Cup. First verses second saw Graham Wood playing Lesley Barr and it was Graham who took the early advantage in this game after going 4-0 up after three ends, but Lesley hit back with a four in the forth end and a two in the sixth end to lead 6-5 going into the last end. Graham managed to hold his nerve in the last end to take a two and in the game and the league. John Sinclair missed out a chance to finish third in the league after squandering a 6-2 lead. Scott Baird took a four in the last end to tie the match at seven all. John still moved up two places in the league to finish fourth, but the draw didn't help Scott who finished seventh.
