Midcalder Ladies Come Close In Edinburgh International Senior Event

Christine Hamilton and her team of Anne-Marie Ross (Corstorphine Ladies), Christine Smellie and Jean Brash came very close to winning the Edinburgh International Seniors Ladies Event at Murrayfield Curling Rink after losing out in the final. Christine and her team came through the group stages in second place in Group C. They then beat Group D winners E Semple 7-6 in the semi final.
Unforchitanally they came undone in the final. They got off to a slow start and were unable to close the gap.
Well done to Christine's team anyway for a great performance throughout the weekend.
