Stewart Barr moved from the bottom of the Stoddart Cup league to top after game two. Stewart's team had a good start leading 5-1 after four ends against Andrew Brash and finished the game off with a 2 followed by a 6 in the last end to win the game 13-1.
Graham Wood got their season underway with a win against Alan Russell. Graham lead 5-4 at the halfway point and moved clear by scoring 5 points in the last three ends to win the match 10-7.
