Stewart Stays Top With Second Win
Game 3 of the Stoddart Cup saw Alan Russell's team get their first point in the competition with a draw against John Sinclair. Alan's team were 7-4 up playing the last end when John scored a 5 on the last end, but that wasn't enough for John's team to win as they had a 2 point penalty to be added on and the game finished 9-9.
Stewart Barr made it two wins in a row to stay top of the league. Stewart was 3-2 up against Basil Baird after four ends before a strong finish from Stewart team plus 3 penalty points gave them a 12-5 victory.
Andrew Brash shutout Graham Wood in the last game. Andrew's team won six ends in a row to win the game 8-0 giving them their second win in the league.
