Team Barr Leapfrogs Back To The Top Of Stoddart
Stewart Barr finished their Stoddart Cup campaign with a win over Graham Wood. Stewart's team won the first four ends in the game to lead 6-0 before Graham's team won two of the last three ends, but it wasn't enough as Stewart won the game 8-2 to go back to the top of the league.
John Sinclair dropped to third in the league after losing to Basil Baird, who won the first three ends to lead 5-0. John's team fought back with two 2's to close the gap to one, but this wasn't enough as Basil scored a 2 in the next end which sealed a 7-5 victory. John can still win the league if he wins his last match in the Stoddart.
Andrew Brash moved up to second in the league with a win over Alan Russell. Andrew lead 4-2 after four ends and with both teams scoring two points in the last three ends it was Andrew's team that won the game 6-4.
