Sophie And David Fall Just Short At Scottish Junior Championship
Midcalder Curling Club had three members playing in this years, Scottish Junior Championship held at Curl Aberdeen.
Sophie Sinclair playing in Team Jackson finished the group stages in the top spot with seven wins and one loss, but then lost the page playoff 5-3 to Team Bryce. That was then followed up with a semi-final loss to Team Morrison 5-4.
David Baird finished the group stages in third place with five wins and two losses. His Team then got beat in the semi-final 11-5 to Team Kinnear.
Adam Keron was playing in Team Haswell, but unfortunately, they didn't make it out of the group stages with one win and six defeats.
A special mention also goes out to Midcalder member, Harry Macpherson who was refereeing during the whole week of the competition.
