Christine Holds Nerve To Win Prosecco Bonspiel

The prosecco was kept on ice as the ladies fought out a closely played bonspiel to see who would take the title. Four teams skipped by Marion Mulholland, Christine Smilie, Abigail Rennie, and Christine Hamilton play two shortened games with the winners coming from the team that scored the most points. 

At the halfway point, Christine Smilie held the advantage on three points and the other three teams closely behind on two points each.

Going onto the last end Christine Hamilton had taken over the lead with five points, Christine Smilie second on four points, and Marion Mulholland & Abigail Rennie on three points.  Christine Smilie moved level on top after scoring a single in their last end only to see Christine Hamilton score a three in the last end to win the Ladies Prosecco Bonspiel on eight points scored.
