Basil Chilling On Top

 Game two of this season's Daytime Chillers League was played at Curl Edinburgh. First up was Peebles curling Club versus Livingston Curling Club and it was Livingston that got off to a better start leading 6-2 after four ends. Peebles scored a single in the fifth, but then Livingston scored five points in the next two ends to cement their lead. Both teams had one end each to finish the game off, this left Livingston on top with a 12-5 win.

Basil Baird was looking to stay top of the league with the week's second game against Christine Hamilton. Basil's team had a strong start leading 5-2 after four ends. Christine's team won the next two ends to reduce the lead to one point before Basil's team won the last two ends to win the match 11-4.
