Midcalder Fail to Put Away Lothian & Borders Police

Midcalder were held to a seven all draw against Lothian and Borders Police in the third League game of the Glenfarclas Division 2 Mid Lothian Province League. After a good start Midcalder were unable to take their  chances in the final three ends of the game. With last stone advantage playing the eighth and final end, a hit and lie would have been good enough to win the game, but unfortunately the Midcalder stone rolled out of play after hitting the opponents stone. Playing on the night were Alan Russell, Graham Young, Scott Baird and John Sinclair.
This leaves Midcalder on one win, one draw and one loss after the opening three games.
