Midcalder swept aside

Midcalder lost in the first round of the King George IV trophy to Sweepers. A very close game saw both teams hold the lead in the game. One point down playing the last end and with last stone advantage, Midcalder were unable to find the two shots they needed and the game finished with Sweepers winning 8-5.
Playing for Midcalder on the night were Graham Russell, Graham Wood, Harry Russell and Jean Carruthers.
