Big Wins In Opening Week Of Stodart Cup

John Baird and Graham Young both got off to flying start in this seasons Stoddart Cup. David Baird was standing in for John Baird and raced into a 8-0 lead over Basil Baird after six ends before Basil took a one in the seventh end to finish up 8-1.
In the other match of week one, Graham Young came through a close opening few ends against Stewart Barr before running out comfortable winners 9-3.
