Winning Start In Glenfarclas
Midcalder got their Midlothian Division Two Glenfarclas League underway with a win over Penicuik Curling Club. Playing on the night for Midcalder were Alan Russell, Graham Young, Scott Baird and John Sinclair.
In a close fought match, Midcalder took the early advantage to lead 4-1 after three ends before Penicuik fought back in the next two ends to lead 5-4. Midcalder took a five on the sixth end and then kept a clean sheet in the seventh end to finish out 9-4 winners.
