Rebecca Takes Second Slam Of The Year In Inverness

Rebecca Baird won her second Asham Under 21 Slam of the year after winning the Inverness Junior International. Playing with Team Morrison, Rebecca's team qualified for the semi-finals where they beat Team Murray 6-5. In the final, they were up against Team MacDonald. After a good start, they were pegged back to all square after the 9th end. But the team held their nerve to take a three in the last end to win the title 8-5.
Elsewhere in the competition, David Baird playing with Team Brydone got to the semi-finals where they lost 10-9 after an extra end to Team Bryce. They went on to win 3rd place overall in the competition.
James Baird, playing with Team Whyte made it to the quarter-finals where they also lost to Team Bryce 5-4 after an extra end.
George Sinclair, playing with Team MaLean also made it through to the quarter-finals, but they lost to Team Barr 8-6.
