Scott Back To Winning Ways As Alan Keeps Pace In Stoddart
Alan Russell's team won their second game in a row after they saw of the challenge from Basil Baird. Alan was 2-0 up in the game before Basil's team drew level in the third end when they scored a two. From there, Alan's team scored nine unanswered points to win the game 11-2.
The bottom two teams in the league were up against each other in the second game of the night. Bob Graham held the early lead in the match, before Graham Wood scored a four in the third end to lead the match 4-3. The lead changed hand over the next four ends with Graham's team leading by two shots going into the last end. Bob held his nerve to score a two in the last end to tie the match at 8-8.
In the final match of the night, Scott Baird brushed aside Graham Young in a one-sided match. Scott's team only lost one end in the match as they got back to winning ways and remain two points clear at the top of the league after beating Graham's team 11-1.
