James Proves His Point
Midcalder Curling Club held their points competition at Murrayfield Curling Rink and although they weren't a great turnout, it did mean that they got through all ten disciplines in the competition.
James Baird made a great start to the competition and never lost the lead as he gathered up 51 points. Rebecca Baird finished second with 46 points and Alan Russell was third with 42 points taking the non-junior prize.
The rest of the players points were Harry Macpherson 41, John Sinclair 39, Callum Wood 35, Graham Wood 34 and Last was George Sinclair on 31 points.
To show how good our juniors are getting the combined scores for the four juniors was 163 where the four adults only got 156.
