Stoddart Goes Down To Final Game
The Stoddart Cup will go down to the final match after Bob Graham missed out in the chance to win the league after losing to John Sinclair. To make things worse for Bob he sits top of the league but won't be able to win the league as his team has played all their games and will be overtaken by one of the teams in the final games for the league. Bob was in contention of winning the game after trading 2's with John team in the first four ends and then taking a 5-4 lead after five ends. The match swung in John favor in the sixth end when they scored a 6 and they held on in the last end to win the match 8-6.
Alan Russell kept his teams league hopes alive after defeating Graham Young in the weeks second match. The match was finely poised after four ends with the team tied at 3-3 before Alan's team stole the last two ends of the game to win the match 6-3.
