Andrew Goes Clear At Top Of Cousland

Andrew Brash moved clear at the top of the Cousland Cup after a game of two halves when his team rushed into a 6-0 lead after three ends. But Joh Baird turned the tide when his team won the next four ends to level the match. Andrew's team held the nerve in the last end to take a single and win the game 7-6.
Lesley Barr moved up three places in the league after having to come from behind twice in the match to defeat Alan Ogilvie who had a 3-0 lead after two ends, only then to lose a 3. Lesley's team then lost a single, but they scored a 4 and a 1 to win the match 8-4.
In the last match, Christine Hamilton scored a 4 in the second end which helps them into a 4-3 lead over Graham Russell after three ends. Christine's team scored 3 points in the next two ends only for Graham's team to score 3 in the sixth end, but it was Christine's that held on with a single in the last end to win the match 8-6.
