Cousland League Gets Underway
The opening games of this season Cousland Cup league got underway with three close games. Lesley Barr held a 4-2 lead after three ends before Graham Russell scored 4 points in the next two ends to take the lead in the match. Both teams scored singles in the last two ends to give Graham Russell a 7-5 win.
Andrew Brash's team topped the league after defeating Christine Hamilton. Andrew's team lead 4-2 after four ends and extended their lead by winning three of the last four end to win the match 8-3.
The last match saw John Baird lead the match 3-2 after four ends before Alan Ogilvie scored 4 points in the next two ends to win the match 6-4.
