Inverness Junior International
Five Midcalder Curling Club members were out in various teams at this years Inverness Junior International part of the Asham Under 21 Slam series.
David Baird qualified for the Semi-finals with three wins and one loss. In the semi-final, all was going well against Team Carson until they lost a 5 in the fifth end and would end out losing the match 9-4. In the 3/4 game, David's Team got off to a great start with a 3 in the first end and continued that form to hold on and win 6-4 against Team Barr to finish third overall.
George Sinclair playing in Team McLean finished third in Section B with 3 points. Callum Wood and Ewan Barr were playing in Team Cormack and they finished fourth in Section A with 2 points.
Rebecca Baird just missed out in the semi-finals. Playing with Team Dandie they tied top with 4 points but missed out as they had fewer ends won.
