Midcalder Curling Club played their Annual Christmas bonspiel with six teams competing for the trophy. The teams played a four end game before the winners moved up a sheet and the losers move down a sheet for the remainder of the match. All games were close after the first four ends and the competition came down to the last shots played after the last three ends and it was the Christmas angle himself Stewart Barr that came out on top with his team of Harry Macpherson, Ally MacFarlane and Abigail Rennie With Plus three shots. Alan Russell, Douglas Burns, Ian Provan and Caroline Graham were runners-up with plus two shots. Christine Hamilton, Ian Keron, Graham Russell and Lesley Barr came bottom of the tree with minus three shots.
