Midcalder Finish Season On Top At Gathering
Midcalder Curling Club finished the season of in a high after winning overall at the Edinburgh International Curlers Gathering. Playing for Midcalder over the weekend were Ian Keron, Adam Keron, Andrew Keron, Alan Russell and Holly Davis.
Midcalder got off to a great start when they won all three games against Slajding Bois, SUI Zanon and Kelso Reivers in Group 6.
This meant Midcalder were in the Top group after the redraw. In the first game, Midcalder drew 3-3 against Curling Schaffhausen and that was followed up by wins over Manitoba 7-4 and Aegon/ Duddinston 8-1. This was enough for Midcalder to win the competition overall.
Congratulation to all who played, which was another wonderful weekends curling.
