Midcalder Survive Relegation In Last Game
Midcalder Curling Club survived relegation from Midlothian Province Division 1 League after leaving it to the last match to stay up.
The team of David Baird, Stewart Barr, John Sinclair and Jim Wilson were up against Duddinston Curling Club who were also in the relegation zone. The teams were tied at the halfway point of the match at 4-4 but a strong finish from Midcalder saw them win the last three ends to win the match 9-4 and stay in Division 1.
