Basil Secures Last Spot In Cousland Final

Now that the Scottish Curling Championship has finished the next big event is the Cousland Cup final
Basil Baird's Team booked the last place in the final after defeating Andrew Graham. Knowing they only needed a win to secure a place in the final against Graham Wood.
 Basil's team scored three 3's in the first four ends and when they stole a single in the fifth end the game was conceded giving Basil a 10-2 victory. 
Graham Russell needed Basil's team to slip up to give them any chance of getting to the final. They gave it everything they had after leading 7-3 at the halfway point against Alan Ogilvie. Graham's team then scored a three and a four in the last three ends to give them a 14-4 win.

The Final will see Graham Wood, Alan Graham, Scott Baird, and Alan Crawford take on Basil Baird, Graham Young, Harry Macpherson, and Lynne McEwen.
